Planning for the 100th celebration of All Schools Day is already underway. The All Schools Day committee is asking for your help in making this an extraordinary event.
If you have ideas for special events, or know of someone willing to help, please let us know by sending an email to:
or by completing the form below.
Some of the ideas suggested so far include:
* Balloons to hand out - reminiscent of when elementary kids marched with a balloon
* Former May Fete Royalty riding in the parade
* Historical slide show or memory book
* Adult madathon and bed races
* Recreate floats for the past
* Old cars in the parade, representing each of the past decades
* Big screen TV’s in each of the retirement centers, so residents who cannot attend can still be part of the celebration
* A “grand finale” to mark the end of the parade
* Talent show for adults (in addition to May Fete)
* Street dance, musical acts at one of the theaters
