Winding the May Pole

Fifth, sixth and seventh grade girls in McPherson County are invited to wind the May Pole before the May Fete performances. This is a great way to participate in the All Schools Day activities.

To participate, they be willing to attend all practices and both May Fete performances. Also, they must have permission from their parent/guardian.

An informational session will be held on Monday, April 11 beginning at 4:00 pm. Practices will then be held each Monday and Tuesday evening through May 10, followed by winding the May Pole at the May Fete performances on May 11 – 12.

All practices will be at the Band Shell in Lakeside Park unless announced otherwise. In case of bad weather, please listen to the McPherson radio station KNGL/KBBE 1540 AM – 96.7 FM for cancellation of practice. Practice time will be 4:00 to 4:45 pm.

Information and the permission form can be found here.
